Sylvia "Susie" S. (Young) Adams

Sylvia S. “Susie” Adams, 79, of New Vienna, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at her residence.  She was born November 17, 1943 in Sligo, Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond Carl Young and Mary Ruth Minzler Young.  She was a graduate of Clinton Massie High School.

Susie retired from Ledex in Wilmington.  She was a member of the New Vienna United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed singing and cooking for everyone.

She is survived by her son, William M. (Cynthia ) Mahanes Jr. of Bowersville, Ohio; her daughter, Kelly Kim (Christian “Chopper”) Travis of Hillsboro, Ohio; three sisters, Doris (Marlin) Burton of New Vienna, Ohio, Jean Webb of Ripley, Ohio, and Shirley Lee Roberts of Deland, Florida; two grandchildren, Kasi (Dustin) Goodman of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Skyler South of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her grand-dog, Boo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Adams; three daughters, Carla Mahanes, Christina Mahanes, and Tabatha Mahanes; and a brother, Roger Young.

In accordance with Susie’s wishes, there will not be any services.
