William E. Kennedy Jr.

William E.  Kennedy Jr., 78, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025.  His wife, Mary A. Kennedy, preceded him in death December 3, 2020.  He was born March 12, 1946 in Brockton, Massachusetts, son of the late William Kennedy Sr. and Janet B. French Kennedy. 

Mr. Kennedy retired from US Air where he worked as an airplane mechanic.  After retirement he became a truck driver.  He loved sailboats, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Kennedy is survived by his daughter, Robin (Bryan Davis) Vaughn of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Kathy (James E.) Lyon of Lake Tahoe, Nevada; his grandchildren, Cameron (Alisha) Phelps, Zakery Phelps, Samantha Vaughn, and Robert Davis; as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, a brother, James F. Kennedy, and a sister, Barbara Ann Kennedy, are preceded in death.

According to his wishes, Mr. Kennedy will be cremated.  A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
